Nyx thought about Pyrite for a while. She had this sinking feeling in her heart as she looked at her bedroom ceiling.

“Royo? Are you still awake?” Nyx whispered, closing her eyes to see Royo, who yawned, rubbing his sleepy brown eyes.

“Y-yeah, I’m awake Nyx… What’s up?”

“I feel like I have been holding on to Pyrite for so long…” Nyx sat under the tree as Royo leaned on her.

“It’s been eight years, sis… He might not ever realize that you like him.”

“But do I still like him…?” Nyx looked up to the calming purple and blue night sky of her mindscape.

“Do you?” Royo snuggled close to her, closing his eyes and drifting off to sleep.

She thought for a moment. He has been in my life for a long time…. Do I really have feelings for him anymore?…I don’t know anymore…I think I should move on…but…how?

Before she could come up with an answer, she yawned, falling asleep with Royo next to her.
