With the temperature at a steady decline and the leaves beginning to turn, fall is finally upon us. Bring out your best fall sweater, get a PSL, and check off this list of essential fall activities!
- Go on a hike
Hiking is a great way to relieve stress and spend valuable time outdoors. Since it is no longer summer, the trails have cleared out, the weather has cooled down, and the foliage is on full display.
- Bake!
With fall comes fall flavors. Set aside an hour or two and bake your favorite treat! You can bake with a friend, family member, or do it solo. Apple crisp, pumpkin pie, apple fritters, bread pudding, chai cookies, pumpkin cookies and muffins are all options. Get out of your comfort zone and attempt a new recipe.
- Pumpkin Patch/Carve pumpkins
Take a day trip to your nearest pumpkin patch with family and friends and pick you favorite! Then, take it home and create your own Jack-O-Lantern by carving a face and putting a candle inside.
- Movie Marathon
Spend a weekend marathoning your favorite fall movies and shows. Harry Potter, Pride and Prejudice, and Gilmore Girls are some of my favorite fall watches. Have a pasta dinner, lots of snacks, and enjoy!
- Go apple picking
Wear your jeans and flannels and spend an afternoon at the apple orchard. Enjoy the crisp fall air and bring home a bag or two of your favorite kind of apple. You can eat them fresh, make apple pie, or include them in other recipes.
