Cherry Cheesecake
Cherry Cheesecake is a regular cheesecake with a cherry pie filling on top.
“I start with getting the Graham crust and the cheesecake powder and can of cherries from Walmart and then when I come back home I prepare the crust, then I make the cheesecake filling in a bowl by putting the powder in then I add milk little by little to see if it enough, then I pour the filling in the crust and I open the can of cherries and pour it on top of the cheesecake. Then I close it up and put it in the fridge, so it’s ready for Christmas Day.”-Kerstyn Lagutap, student at Central High School
Cinnamon Sugar Pecans
Cinnamon Sugar Pecans are crunchy, sweet, spiced pecans that are coated in sugar, cinnamon and often egg white, that are then either roasted or baked.

Chocolate-Covered Oreos
Chocolate-covered Oreos are exactly what the name is; they are Oreos that are taken and dipped into a melted chocolate that hardens often with fun sprinkles put on top.“ It’s just like a tradition, also it’s really easy to make, and I make like little designs on them and they’re great for like gifts and giving to people.”-Kenzie Martinsen, sophomore at Central High School
Banana Bread Loaf
A sweet “quick” bread that is made up of mashed bananas, often spiced with cinnamon that’s great for Christmas morning.
“Warm and fresh banana bread on Christmas day is always fun to wake up too, especially since it makes the house smell wonderful.”- My mom

Pecan Pie
Pecan pie is made of a buttery crust filled with corn syrup, sugar, butter, and eggs, along with lots of crunchy pecans.
